2014 Summer Shotgun Camp
Amelia Shotgun Sports is offering a Summer Shotgun Camp for youth ages 13 – 18. Camp will be 2 days from 8:30am – 5pm. Students will learn firearm safety, parts of a shotgun, proper gun mounting, what chokes are for and when to use which one, shell components, gun placement and then they will spend time learning the shotgun disciplines of 5-Stand, Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clays, knowledge and shooting.
At the end of each day from 3-5pm, Forester Dave Holley will lead students in some interesting, yet fun Forestry Education Activities.
Cost is $100 per student which includes targets, instruction and lunch. Shells are not included. Students will need 1 case (250) shells (7.5-9 shot). Shells may be purchased at member prices for each student ($67.95+tax/case). Please be advised that if your student comes with incorrect shells, they will not be permitted to shoot them or must purchase correct shells. Maximum of 10 students per class.
Active 4H, AIM or SCTP members receive a $25 discount.
