NSCA Certified Level III Instructors, David Dobson and Don Currie will be here at Amelia Shotgun Sports May 10th – 12th, 2013 giving a NSCA Level I Instructors Certification Course.
Level I
At the Level I program, our goal is to provide beginning instructors with the knowledge and ability to teach the fundamentals. They should be able to instruct a shooter on such basics as setting up foot and body position for proper balance; setting up hand and shotgun position to move with the target; how to use the eyes to acquire a target; understanding why a target was missed; and why all this is important.
The Level I course will prepare instructors to work with beginning shooters or any who need to improve their fundamental skills.
Cost is $500/student plus targets and any instructor expenses.
The course will start Friday Evening at 6PM and finish Sunday approximately 5PM.
Todd Nelson is an added treat and will be doing a 90 minute presentation on gunfit, form & eye anomalies and this is NEVER done except in the NSSA classes.
In order for a class to be held, there must be a minimum of 6 students registered for a class with all 6 registration fees sent to NSCA Headquarters 21 days in advance of the course date. There is a maximum of 10 students.
