We provide an opportunity for ladies to shoot together at a discounted rate… whether a total beginner or a seasoned shooter, Amelia Shotgun Sports has everything you need for a good time.
During this time:
If you are a regular shooter, you get the special VIP ladies rate!
If you are a newbie or never even handled a shotgun… We will teach you everything you need to know for just $75!
For all follow up visits during this time, you get everything you need for the VIP rate!

Meet the Amelia Girls Really Into Shooting chapter!
AMELIA G.R.I.T.S.
The GRITS are an amazing group of women from all walks of life who have at least one thing in common- a passion for shooting sports. Our membership is diverse. We range from younger gals to ladies, mothers and grandmother’s, cool chicks and crack shots, complete novices and pretty much everyone in between. We are women who are all empowered by membership in a club that promotes the shotgun sports and yet is tightly bound by friendships, support and camaraderie. We could not ever aptly describe the shooting fun with these women, it must be experienced! Each chapter hosts a safe and encouraging place for beginners to learn as well as a more challenging environment for experienced shooters. If any of the above sounds intriguing, WE WANT YOU! Other than the obvious, that is being a woman, smiles, good cheer and fun loving are the only requirements to join. Ready, PULL.

Member’s Only Shooting Tips from the Instructors
Being a GRITS member will allow you to have access to events and discounts for products and shooting destinations at various locations throughout the country. While we are still growing, the more members we have, the more products and opportunities you will have to choose from. Our partner vendors, gun clubs, and instructors are more than happy to offer you the best of the best at a fair price.
When you join GRITS you become a member of every GRITS Chapter and are invited to shoot at any of the GRITS Chapters’ events. We have Chapters in several states around the country.
Each chapter meets about once a month to shoot mainly Sporting Clays. Some chapters occasionally organize Wing Shooting adventures. We welcome raw beginners to advanced shooters. At most events, there will be an Instructor with a separate area for the beginners to learn to shoot a shotgun safely at ‘clay pigeons’ (Clay targets are sometimes mistakenly called ‘Skeets’, Skeet is a clay shooting sport in the same family as Trap and Sporting Clays. All of which involve using a shotgun to shoot at the clay disc targets.)
We shoot just for the fun of it, no score keeping, with safety foremost and a lot of laughing and camaraderie. We don’t judge one another, we support and learn from each other. Shooting is followed by a ‘social hour’ gathering.
One is welcome to attend 2 events before joining GRITS.
GRITS Rules:
1) Must be a ‘Girl’ 21 years and up
2) No score keeping
